More beer, cowbell

Over at the DailyMile blog, Thomas Neuberger writes about a beer he brewed with finishing a 50K race in mind.

The label even contains a special inscription about the motivational power of beer:

People cheering on the sidelines can help get through a tough race, so can the idea of a good beer waiting for you at the finish.

“If the HAT is anything like it was last year,” Neuberger explains, “the beer waiting at the finish is going to be what gets me through those final miles.”

Read the whole brewing backstory here.

How about you? Do you have a special beer reserved to get you through a race?
