Bridge to Brews 8k/10k

Where: Portland, Oregon
When: April 10
Race notes: It’s a race; it’s a beer tasting festival; it’s both! The race starts by taking runners over the picturesque Fremont Bridge. Then, the post-event party includes 10 (!) tickets for samplings of beer, wine, cider or spirits. Beer sponsors include Full Sail, Fat Head’s, Lagunitas, Bridgeport and many more.

The Sasquatch Scramble

Where: Oakland, California
When: April 17
Race notes: The 5K, 10K and half marathon participants of this trail run receive a Sasquatch Scramble tech tee, post-race beer from Cleophus Quealy, Hint WaterCrunch Culture Yogurt, Perfect Bars, a massage courtesy of PSOAS Massage/Bodywork and more.

Happy’s 5000 and Beer Mile

Where: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
When: April 23
Race notes: The Abita-sponsored festivities (“it’s not a race, it’s a cultural event”) include a 5K as well as a beer mile, and the latter includes a best costume contest.

The Little Kings Mile

Where: Cincinnati, Ohio
When: April 29
Race notes: The one-mile kickoff of the Flying Pig Marathon weekend is the second leg of a three-race series celebrating Cincinnati’s brewing history and benefitting the Over-the-Rhine Brewery District. The course goes around the stadium along Cincinnati’s riverfront and ends with an afterparty at the Moerlein Lager House.

Kohler Festival of Beer 5K Beer Run

Where: Kohler, Wisconsin
When: April 30
Race details: Runners take a break at three different beer stops during the 5K, followed by a finish line beer garden with more items from the Cucina Beer garden menu. Finally, the race is followed by the Kohler Festival of Beer.

Freedom Run

When: May 6
Races notes: This 5K that honors veterans features free food and free beer from Notch, Slumbrew & Bantam at the post-race party.

Salomon Trail Running Festival

Where: New Gloucester, Maine
When: May 28-29
Race notes: Shipyard Brewing sponsors the post-race BBQ and offers two free cans of beer for trail runners. Race distances go from 5K all the way to 50 miles.

Sly Fox Brewery Fox Trot 5K

Where: Pottstown, Pennsylvania
When: May 21
Race notes: Race starts and ends at the Sly Fox Brewery (with each runner getting a glass of the brewery’s 2015 GABF silver medal winner Grisette), plus live music, food truck and beer pairings, and lawn games at the finish.
