It’s International IPA Day
It’s International IPA Day today–which is every day for me–so bring out the hops. I’m in the Washington, D.C. area this week for a wedding and have already ticked off two local IPAs: DC Brau Corruption IPA (delicious!) and Devils Backbone Eight Point IPA (delicious, and finally bottled!).
What other local D.C., Virginia and Maryland IPAs do you think I should check out? What are you cracking open today?

My favorite IPA is a two year old bottle of Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA. I also really enjoy Lagunitas Hop Stoopid
Flying Dog Snake Bite IPA, Heave Seas Loose Cannon Trippled Hopped IPA (and the cask aged and amped up Double Cannon).
While in MD, u should try Heavy Seas Loose Cannon IPA, Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA and Raging Bitch IPA, Evolution Lot 3 IPA out of Salisbury, MD, and Evolution Lot 6 their double IPA. Have a great time sampling the local brews…we have some great IPA’s!! I’m sick w/flu and can’t partake in IPA Day and am totally bummed. I am a hophead and have looked forward to this day for weeks! Bummer!
I’m drinking Houston IPAs!

I sat down with the first IPA that blew me away long ago….West Coast IPA by GF.
Had a Blackball Belgian IPA on tap at Karl’s 4s ranch then finished with a glass of it from the cask.
Same beer served 2 different ways Couldn’t ask for a better way to end the evening!!
