The Missoula Marathon finish line sounds like a place I want to be. Actually, the whole races does.

Big Sky Brewing sponsors the Montana race’s post-race party. But they also don’t wait until mile 26.2 to start the good times.

“A beer or two has been known to make an appearance on the course,” the brewery’s website states, “right next to the bacon and pancakes around mile 22.”

Today, the brewery is hosting a Missoula Marathon Registration Party, so you can sample your beer before you get to mile 22 or the end. Not up for a full marathon? You can still sign up for the race’s 3- and 5-mile beer runs two days before the big event.

The brewery also sponsors elite Ironman triathlete Linsey Corbin, and they asked her for advice on the race. She’s a sub-3 hour marathon runner–and that’s after she has already completed an Ironman swim and bike. And she also knows how to spectate.

“Linsey likes to cheer on the Missoula Marathon with beer, bacon and pancakes at Mile 22,” the brewery proclaims. Find more of her tips on the website.
