What it is: A 7%-ABV stout brewed with cacao nibs, cinnamon and three different chilies (so technically, it’s a spice/herb/vegetable beer).

What it tastes like: One of the most well-crafted, thoughtful chili beers out there. Inspired by an Aztec drinking chocolate recipe, the beer hits the palate with cocoa, then morphs into cinnamon and chili heat as it slips down your throat. The pepper tickle is beautifully honed, and the swallow’s proof that chili beers don’t have to be one-note fire bombs.
