Making a Beer Run 6K Fun Run and Beer Fest

The Craft Classic


Roadrunner Sports Craft Classic Half Marathon & 5K
Where: Fountain Hills, Arizona
When: Sunday, October 16
Details: “Miles down. Bottoms up.” That’s the slogan for the Craft Classic in Phoenix, which features an afterparty with Huss Brewing Co for participants 21 years and older. There’s more: The top male and female half marathon finishers will win their weight in beer!  Register here

8th Annual 5k Zombie Run


Where:  Traverse City, Michigan
When: Saturday, October 29
Details: Zombies and Right Brain Brewery team up for a Halloween daytime beer run. “Who says you can’t drink before noon?,” asks the race website. “Besides, you’re already dead anyway!” Register here

11th Annual Tyranena Beer Run

Where: Lake Mills, Wisconsin
When: Saturday, November 5
Details This annual event is a 13.1-mile run or a 4.37-mile run/walk, beginning and ending at Tyranena Brewing Co. Each participant receives a Tyranena Beer Run t-shirt, two beer drink tickets and dinner after the race as well as free brewery tours. Register here

Why a Miller Lite Was the Best Beer I’ve Ever Had

I’ve worked in craft beer for nearly five years now. I’ve had the fortune to try some truly amazing brews: Pliny the Elder, Heady Topper, Bourbon Barrel Aged Expedition Stout. Supplication? I’ve got one in my mini-fridge. The reason I’m telling you this is because I want to frame my statements here properly. I’ve had good beer, trust me. The best beer I’ve ever had, though, was a Miller Lite.
