Join Heartland brewmasters Kelly Taylor and Sam Richardson and DRAFT Beer Editor Chris Staten on Feb. 8 for an evening of food and craft beer pairing. Heartland Brewery's Empire State Building location will pour Heartland brews alongside food stations serving up delicacies. The food's highbrow, but the evening's casual; walk among the stations, sip Heartland suds and chat with the pros at your own pace.

TICKETS: $50 per person (tax + fees not included), includes admission and a 1-year subscription to DRAFT Magazine. Tickets on sale now; limit 200.

Samples of Food and Beer Pairings:

Brewmaster Kelly Taylor will be introducing the exclusive, small batch Imperial Stout which has never before been brewed by Heartland Brewery.

Pairing 1:
Cornhusker Lager or Harvest Wheat
Paired with chilled mussels on the half shell, lemon pepper aioli, cucumber salsa and chervil individually plated on a bed of sea salt

Pairing 2:
Oktoberfest Dunkel or Old Red Nose Special Edition
Paired with char-grilled lamb tenderloin stuffed with spinach and goat cheese, carved to order, plated with rosemary lamb jus and tomato compote

Pairing 3:
IPA
Paired with hot-smoked wild salmon filet with horseradish cream and pickled vegetable salad

Pairing 4:
Farmer Jon's Oatmeal Stout
Paired with pepper seared beef tenderloin, carved to order, wild mushroom-leek puree and stout glaze

Pairing 5:
Bavarian Black Lager
Paired with double chocolate hazelnut pudding in espresso cups with vanilla whipped cream
