If you’ve gone holiday beer shopping lately, you’ve probably seen He’Brew’s holiday gift set on shelves, bearing a glass plus eight great Kosher bottles, including the weeks-old Jewbelation Fifteen. But unless you’ve bought the box, you might not know that inside awaits a pack of Hanukkah candles and instructions on how to build your own beer menorah. The idea is to polish off those bottles, then upcycle them into a beery menorah you can display during the Festival of Lights later this month.

Here’s our attempt at a beer menorah (love that empty Shamash bottle in the middle!); we think it’s pretty solid. But we know you’re a creative bunch; make your own (check out last year’s winners for inspiration), snap a pic, then upload it to Shmaltz’s Facebook page to vie for Hanukkah prizes. Start sipping!
