LTD is back for more
Published by Staff on 5.28.2008 at 1:07 p.m.Full Sail Brewing Co. in Hood River, Ore. announced it will relaunch LTD 02 as part of its seasonal lager series. The beer’s predecessor, LTD 01, won gold at the World Beer Championships after its introduction last spring.
According to executive brewmaster Jamie Emmerson, LTD 02 is a light-bodied, golden-colored import-style lager with soft malt undertones that finishes crisp and clean—likely due to the use of Saaz and Styrian Goldings hops.
“LTD means ‘limited edition,’ but around here it means something even more: ‘live the dream,’” says Emmerson. “We are excited to be able to branch out and brew some interesting lager beers as they are such a huge part of brewing tradition.”
