You: a Burger King?

The evolution of the hamburger is a thing of beauty. Though it began, essentially, as a flattened meatball wedged between two slices of bread, the past 100 years were something of a Renaissance. Whether your fixins include pickles, bacon, pineapple or beets, the sky’s the limit.




Thanks to the team at Scotty’s Brewhouse, which operates multiple locations throughout Indiana, one creative connoisseur of burgers will soon be synonymous with the favorite lunchtime fare. The general public is encouraged to submit new recipes to Scotty’s “burger contest,” and win a permanent spot on the company’s menu. That’s right, anything you can dream up, so long as the recipe is original and the burger tastes pretty darn good.




So grill up some beef, empty out that fridge and start the taste test. Not only will the winner choose the name of the sandwich (DRAFT’s Deli Burger?), but they’ll also receive a $50 gift certificate each month for an entire year at Scotty’s.
