Imperial Stout Turkey Chili
Servings: Serves 8
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- Pkg of 4 Chicken andouille sausage
- 1 large yellow onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 can diced tomatoes and juice
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1 12 ounce bottle Imperial Stout
- 4 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablesppons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1/2 tablespoon dry basil (crushed)
- 1/4 tablespoon black pepper

Instructions:
- Dice the onion and garlic. Brown the turkey in a skillet with the onion and garlic.
- Drain and rinse the beans. Slice the andouille sausage into bite size pieces. Add beans and sausage and all remaining ingredients to a crockpot/slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
