DRAFT REVIEW: Squatters India Pale Ale
RATING
95

This lucid, light orange brew’s bubbly white head lets loose a fruity bouquet: Juicy peach and apricot hop scents reach the nose alongside lightly toasted scents. A solid toasted malt foundation fans out across the tongue, pushing back against an initial wave of bitterness. As the bitterness sweeps back, orange, apricot and nectarine hop notes sing on the tongue. A final bitter swell scrapes the tongue before the swallow, but bright, fruity hops and toasty malts soothe the taste buds long into the finish.
