This blueberry bonanze is engineered on a wheat beer base. It pours a perfectly clear orange-gold and large bubbles rocket upward to form a frothy, white head. The aroma is faint but shows distinct dry, husky wheat and blueberry notes; hoever, they don't mingle as harmoniously as expected. The taste also seems restrained, with grainy flavors on the front of the swallow that quickly give way to sweet and dry blueberry notes. This is a medium-light-bodied brew with a dry finish and a slightly peppery aftertaste. |
