DRAFT REVIEW: Saranac White IPA
This brew’s aroma craftily fuses a witbier’s orange peel with an IPA’s grassy, catty hops. On the tongue, sharp wheat and smooth oats create a balanced malt foundation for bright, juicy orange flavors that shimmer above. Light strokes of coriander emerge from the citrus before tempered hop bitterness washes over the tongue. This beer needs more hop strength to achieve its IPA name, but as a pale ale-witbier hybrid, it’s spot-on.
