DRAFT REVIEW: Bedlam!
RATING
95

Peppery Belgian yeast punches up a huge aroma of pine, papaya and catty hops. But it’s the flavor where the Belgian yeast comes into full view. A forceful blend of tangerine and resinous hops splashes down first, quickly transitioning into tropical pineapple and papaya. The yeast’s Juicyfruit notes connect perfectly with the fruity hops, while its subsequent earthy white pepper punches up the swallow. Throughout the swallow, firm bitterness keeps this complex IPA-based beer light on the tongue and, even more surprisingly, manages to subdue the bold flavors into a gentle finish.
