DRAFT REVIEW: Vanilla Pale Ale

This pale ale proves stouts and porters aren’t the only styles that can carry vanilla. In the nose, dense vanilla sweetens toasted bread and flowery hops; on the palate, an ultrarich wash of vanilla surges through toasted malts, then meets focused floral and orange hop notes in the back; the flavor falls just shy of Creamsicle. Snappy bitterness saves the beer from a cloying finish and clips each sip clean.
