As the sweetness recedes, a lovely Kahlua flavor, plus some hazelnut and cherry, remains on the tongue, creating a complexity that’s initially obscured. Alcohol warmth lasts deep into the chest. Though this brew’s drinkability is in the eye of the beholder, it delivers expertly on its concept.
