“I can’t go out at night in case I give someone a heart attack.”

That’s Jill Harvey describing the type of precautions she has to take after committing to run a mile every day for the month of October—while wearing a giant beer costume.

Harvey isn’t normally a runner, but she combined the beer costume and running streak along with going sober for the full month as a challenge to raise money for cancer research.

“For me, not drinking for a month is a big deal,” she told the Times and Star, a paper in the U.K.

Maybe she added the costume as a reminder of how many beers she has earned after she completes the challenge.

Why a Miller Lite Was the Best Beer I’ve Ever Had

I’ve worked in craft beer for nearly five years now. I’ve had the fortune to try some truly amazing brews: Pliny the Elder, Heady Topper, Bourbon Barrel Aged Expedition Stout. Supplication? I’ve got one in my mini-fridge. The reason I’m telling you this is because I want to frame my statements here properly. I’ve had good beer, trust me. The best beer I’ve ever had, though, was a Miller Lite.
