WIN: An Ameri-CAN Canned Craft Beer Fest getaway!

/ 0

Some of the nation’s best beers come dressed in aluminum, and the Ameri-CAN Canned Craft Beer Fest is where they shine. On May 18, SanTan Brewing concludes American Craft Beer Week with its third annual Ameri-CAN fest, which honors strictly canned craft brews with beer Olympics, an award ceremony, food and entertainment, and (of course) more than 150 local and national can-clad beers. The party, held at the Scottsdale Civic Center in Scottsdale, Ariz., showcases brews from Sixpoint, Golden Road, Marble, 21st Amendment and beyond.

DRAFT’s giving one winner the ultimate Ameri-CAN getaway. The lucky beer-drinker wins:

  • Two VIP tickets to the Ameri-CAN Canned Craft Beer Fest (includes VIP Beer Garden entry, special pours, unlimited food, private restrooms and more)
  • A two-night stay at Scottsdale’s Hotel Valley Ho
  • Transportation to and from the festival
  • Breakfast at The Breakfast Club
  • Brewery tours

To celebrate this landmark, I’ve put together a ‘Special Edition’ of Brewery Travels: A rundown of my favorites in each of the states visited so far.

Why a Miller Lite Was the Best Beer I’ve Ever Had

I’ve worked in craft beer for nearly five years now. I’ve had the fortune to try some truly amazing brews: Pliny the Elder, Heady Topper, Bourbon Barrel Aged Expedition Stout. Supplication? I’ve got one in my mini-fridge. The reason I’m telling you this is because I want to frame my statements here properly. I’ve had good beer, trust me. The best beer I’ve ever had, though, was a Miller Lite.
