The best road-trip destinations? Some of America’s most beautiful national parks, conveniently located near breweries.

GO NORTH: Drive to Alaska’s Denali National Park (home to Mt. McKinley) and make 49th State Brewing your basecamp: There’s a campground, convenience store and gas station on-premise, and the brewery’s brand-new Hibernation Series.

GO SOUTH: Arkansas’ just-opened Superior Bath House Brewery and Distillery uses the 144-degree water from Hot Springs National Park to brew its flagship red ale and coffee stout.

GO EAST: Head straight through Maine and up Acadia National Park’s Cadillac Mountain to witness the country’s first sunrise, then back down to Bar Harbor for blueberry ales at Atlantic Brewing and Bar Harbor Brewing.

GO WEST: Visit Yosemite in California, and naturally, you’ll crave Sierra Nevada; after your pale ale, kick back with pizza and session beers at the brand-new South Gate Brewing, just outside the park.

The Haunted Brewery Tour
