A dead ringer for peach flesh and a perfect companion to your barbecued pulled pork sandwich, this non-cloying drink’s secret is a crisp pilsner base and maple syrup; undetectable as a standalone ingredient, the syrup lends soft, round sweetness.

  • 34 ounce Islay Scotch
  • 34 ounce Crème de Peche
  • 12 ounce Amaro Ciociaro
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 3 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
  • 1 dash Frank’s Hot sauce
  • 12 ounce maple syrup
  • pilsner


Combine all ingredients except the pilsner in shaker with ice. Shake, then double-strain into a bistro
glass without ice. Top with pilsner and garnish with lemon peel.
