Sweet and Spicy Prosciutto-Wrapped Dates

Serves: 4 to 6 servings


  • 4 ounces prosciutto
  • 18-20 Medjool dates
  • 2 ounces goat cheese
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • pinch cayenne pepper


1. Slice the prosciutto down the center lengthwise, creating two narrow strips from each original slice. Set aside.
2. Slice the dates open one at a time, removing the pit. Fill the center of the date with goat cheese.
3. Wrap a single date tightly with one strip of prosciutto and place on a serving platter. Repeat for all dates.
4. Drizzle lightly with honey and sprinkle with cayenne pepper. Serve on toothpicks if desired.
