Siren Amber Ale

RATING
86

A heavy, dense white head bears down on this beaming orange brew. Dank, woodsy hop scents weave through toasty wafts, while sweet bready hints lighten the bouquet. Initial bread flavors splash against the tongue, then darken as toast surges in the middle. Sweet tangerine and biting lemon-pith hop flavors slice through the malts, ushering in a bitter dryness that sweeps the tongue clean. This beer doesn’t fully showcase the sweet, robust malt flavors of the style, but its flavor interplay and thin body make it a highly quaffable “anytime” beer.
