Black Iron India Pale Ale

RATING
86

A sharp hop aroma creeps out from this hazy orange brew’s frothy white head: Orange peel scents slice the lightly toasted malts that hover in the nose. Soft, sweet bready malts touch down first and are met by a quick bitter swell on the tip of the tongue. Juicy orange flavors get a peppery kick in the middle while a rise of toasted bread hits the back of the throat. Deeper into the swallow, robust bitterness overruns the palate, leaving behind a hint of orange as the flavors recede.
