Trois Pistoles

This muted brown brew fills the air with sharp white pepper, clove and banana scents, courtesy of the Belgian yeast. On the tongue, black pepper, clove and a ginger bite are sandwiched between bready flavors and pear and fig notes. Light bubblegum backs up the beer’s sugary sweetness, but the sharper flavors prevail. A touch of alcohol warmth grips the back of the throat before a carbonic bite washes the flavors from the tongue.
