Imperial Porter

RATING
83

Shimmering ruby highlights glimmer around the sides of this dark brown brew. A tempered, delicate aroma rises from the glass: Quiet dark chocolate scents intertwine with roasted malts, while peppery alcohol spice and tobacco broaden the bouquet. Lightly roasted malts and dark chocolate rush down the center of the tongue to meet toasted malts and a stealthy tartness in the back. A bit thin and one-dimensional for an imperial porter, this beer still dries out nicely, and is incredibly drinkable for its ABV.
