Palate Wrecker

Without question, this beer wrecks the palate with an aggressive onslaught of hops. Rich pine and orange smells fill the air; a hint of caramel sweetens the bouquet. Loud grapefruit splashes down first, signaling a tongue-scraping wave of rough bitterness. Bready malts dull some of the bite, but mid-sip, pine notes swell and push through malt sweetness in the back. In the end, this beer bullies the tongue into submission with lasting bitterness.
