Big Bison Ale

Big Bison bursts with classic Belgian scents—black currants, raisins, brown sugar, bread crust—but it’s lighter on the tongue than the aroma suggests. Banana and pear connect with black currants and flow evenly through bready, toasted malts; touches of caramel accentuate fruit sweetness along the way. This version’s certainly quieter than most dubbels, but its profile is complex enough to make it an example worth visiting.
