Pious Monk Dunkel

Light grassy hop scents add earthiness to this beer’s grainy bread bouquet. Compact and straightforward, Pious Monk tiptoes over the tongue with a trifecta of caramel, soft bread and subtle toast. Faint grassy hop notes give the swallow an earthy hue that’s accentuated by hints of black pepper in the back. This beer’s extremely clean and sessionable, but its lack of the style’s classic, robust bread crust is noticeable.
