Hooksett Ale

RATING
80

Hooksett Ale’s intriguing blend of cedar, caramel and orange aromas may not showcase Belgian yeast, but one sip and there’s no questioning this beer’s soul. Prominent doses of clove and black pepper permeate the beer’s thick caramel and toasted bread malts, while sticky pine binds the flavors together on the tongue. In the back, fresh, leafy hop flavors emerge, but the herb’s bitterness is no match for this rich brew; it leaves the taste buds engulfed with flavor long after each big swallow.
