High Roller

From smell to sip, High Roller’s hop presence is notably subdued, but there’s still plenty to enjoy in this Carolina IPA. The beer’s smooth caramel, bread and quiet orange aroma replicates on the tongue, creating a sweet malt presence that commands the swallow. Gentle floral and orange flavors emerge in the back; it’s the hops’ bitterness that makes the most noise as an assertive wave cuts malt sweetness for a timely dry finish. The only thing this beer lacks is livelier hop flavor—a hallmark of the style.
