Broad Street Barley Wine

This ruby-hued brew’s rich toasted bread, caramel and fruity plum aroma floats effortlessly to the nose. Toasted bread notes take the lead, ushering sweet brown sugar, figs and black currants to the back of the tongue. A pleasant alcohol presence gives this smooth, luscious brew a slight boozy edge, while bitterness pops out in the finish and tames the swallow. Hop flavor is noticeably absent, but this delicious winter sipper still charms with its balance of bold flavors and warm strength.
