Serpent's Stout

RATING
95

A big, inviting swell of chocolate, ash and raisin powers out of the glass. Delicious milk chocolate notes spread over the palate; roasted malts sharpen the chewy mouthfeel. Caramel and toast notes tumble into the chocolate as the beer washes back; mid-sip, tobacco and molasses add aged complexity. Bitter dark malts and alcohol wrap up the layered swallow and settle into a warm glow.
