Stupid Stout

A lightless pour emits a gorgeously thick aroma; rich tobacco, leather, molasses and dark chocolate signal the hefty sip that follows. Leather and spicy tobacco ride smooth dark chocolate across the tongue; as the beer warms, chicory wood and flecks of berry, like currants, surface. The bitterness is firm, with burnt toast and hop bitterness pulling the silky liquid into a sharp finish. The alcohol burns in the chest, indicating this beer will get even better with age.
