Black Hole

A huge wallop of hop aromas, like catty roasted onion, balloon out of this inky brew. On the tongue, complex hops stand right on top of the coffee addition and caramel malt notes. Resinous, roasted onion mimics French onion soup, while sweetness, like fruity cherry, pulls at the sides of the tongue. Spicy alcohol pushes through the swallow, obviating this beer’s size; it’s an oddly harmonious combination that keeps the palate engaged.
