This brown ale’s brewed with honey and ginger and aged in bourbon barrels. Quiet, floral honey and bready aromas rise gently to the nose. On the tongue, the flavor's mature but restrained: Sweet bourbony vanilla melds with the honey’s soft, marshmallow sweetness at the front of the sip. The brown ale's dark bread and toasted nuttiness surface beneath the sweeter flavors and lend depth. Just a bit of wood clicks in the finish. Alcohol’s there, too, noticeable but not distracting, completing this lovely beer.
