Saison Brett

RATING
98

This highly anticipated annual release starts with a huge horseblanket and aged cheddar aroma; lovely floral and spicy coriander ornament the bouquet. This highly carbonated beer gushes over the tongue with strong barnyard funk and tartness, but those elements don’t overshadow the beer’s gorgeous nuances. A squeeze of tropical fruit, a dash of peppery spice and a bit of bubblegum sweetness bob and weave through the swallow up until the sharp, bitter finish, which is an exclamation point on a well-constructed sip. It’s easy and complex; a perfect brew for elevated summer drinking
