Without doubt, this was the hoppiest IPA we have smelled thus far. It isn't that the IBUs are incredibly high; the hops prevail because they are so fresh and the malt is negligible in the aroma. The cloudy orange appearance disguises what's to come in the flavor, while the resiny hops hide the malt undertones buried in the back of the profile. The body is thick but very good, and it helps the beer hold its 7% ABV. It isn't the most balanced IPA, but it is full of flavor.
