Martin Luther once said, "The best drink known to man is called Einbecker Beer" -- lofty praise from one of history's most influential figures. (Now, if we could convince German brewers to put their beer in amber bottles when they ship them to the States!) This beer has a solid malt background, but it is only faintly noticeable behind the strong light-struck character. Flavor notes in this beer are also hard to pick out, but most consisted of caramel and nutty tones. This well-carbonated lager is light orange and has a good head. The mouthfeel was very enjoyable and assisted the malt sweetness in making this beer better.
