Resinous pine, onion powder and a smidge of catbox scent float over supportive, toasted bread malt in a layered, rich aroma. That same sturdy malt bill creates an enjoyably round mouthfeel and a steady base for a progression of hop flavor: First, onion and resin awaken the tongue, while juicy orange and nectarine emerge as the beer warms. Bitterness fades early, making this an accessible and easy-drinking IPA.
