Scaldis Triple

RATING
90

This clear golden brew’s aroma leads with citrusy fragrances of orange and nectarine, but not at the expense of a neutral, bready malt cushion below. It really shines in the well-balanced sip, though, where sweet apricot sugars lead the way before white pepper spice, prickly carbonation and drying alcohol sweep in to even the keel. A substantive body and perceptible alcohol almost push this into Belgian golden strong territory.
