This hopped-up pale ale pours light honey gold with brilliant clarity and a measurable, frothy white head. One deep whiff pulls in grassy hop notes and dry, rustic grains that conjure images of fresh-baked artisan bread. Starting gently, the crusty bread flavors just lightly nudge the tongue. From there, firm hop bitterness grabs the sides of the mouth, but eventually relinquishes to a tart, rye note on the back of the swallow. Terrapin’s version is a fantastic example of a clean, approachable pale ale.
