Thunder Ann

Like its namesake—Sally Ann Thunder Ann Whirlwind Crockett, Davy’s fictional wife— this beer’s tougher than your average ale. Sweet, caramel malts support tropical fruits, bubblegum and melon in the nose, while each full-bodied sip shifts from sweet honey to bread crust to spicy, woody hops with hints of mint and pine bark. Bitterness is high for the style, but that’s a good thing—the beer would be way too sweet if it were absent.
