Gin barrels and Brettanomyces fermentation meet in this brew composed of blended beers (the youngest of which is 16 months old), but herbs and citrusy hops are more noticeable in the aroma: tarragon, basil and sage mingle above spritzy lemon-lime soda and a bassline of catty funk. Tart but not sour, the silk-smooth brew sprinkles notes of New World gin—spruce, spearmint, black tea—atop lemon juice and white grape must; vanilla yogurt rounds out the dulcet finish.
