Erdinger Pikantus

RATING
88

Pikantus has a deep, orange-brown color with a foamy, tan head. Alluring and rich, the raisinbread aroma features strong caramel and mellow clove notes. Its taste begins calmly with sweet caramelized malts in the initial sip, which emerge into apricot and banana flavors later in the taste. The hops provide an assertive
bitterness sprinkled with black pepper spice. Pikantus has a chewy, full body that’s highly carbonated with tiny bubbles that clean the tongue. It finishes dry, and toffee and banana aftertastes linger.
