Paradise Porter

This near-black brew, illuminated with glowing amber hues, pours with a robust, dark brown head that just doesn’t seem to fall. Dark coffee notes with a caramel sweetness permeate the foamy topping, alongside a bready sweetness and burnt sugars that tickle the nose. The balanced, medium-bodied beer delivers complementary flavors, with dark chocolate plus coffee and roasted touches; the latter’s cut off by a very bitter finish just before it flirts with stout territory. The bitterness, which remains into the aftertaste, eventually trails off into a dry, slightly chalky finish.
