Pilsner

RATING
88

A straw color, brilliant clarity, and meringue-white head conspire to entice the palate. A sulfur scent drifts from the head, which augments the beer’s light, dried-flower hop notes and gentle breadlike quality. Honey and bread sweetness greet the palate first, then the highly carbonated, medium body carries herbal, earthy and floral hops over the tongue. And while the hops aren’t as crisp and clean as expected, they do introduce an array of attractive flavors. The beer finishes clean and dry.
