Smoked Baltic Porter

Pouring dark brown with a big, bubbly head, this smoked Baltic porter smells just as you’d expect: Mellow campfire scents deepen the beer’s dark prune, plum and raisin notes. This beer’s equally calm on the tongue, as rounded smoke notes billow above dark chocolate and raisin. While the smoke injects a mature, rustic flavor into the beer, the base style lacks the malt complexity expected in a Baltic porter. Still, this beer’s long smoky finish is a sultry complement to an otherwise burly style.
