Saint Archer Blonde Ale

CATEGORIES: Daily Pint

Your Daily Pint for Monday, Aug. 4, 2014 is: SAINT ARCHER BLONDE ALE

What it is: a 4.8%-ABV Kolsch.

What it tastes like: A slightly bready-sweet aroma carries up to the nose with delicate floral hop notes. Tight, prickly bubbles drive a very sessionable wash of similar flavors: Fluffy, bready malts; lightly floral hops; and a touch of berry fruit wash back before a dry, snappy finish caps off the swallow.

Now in tall-boy cans: We love the sleek, sliver can design of these little 12-ouncers, but considering the beer inside is perfect for summer heat, we’ll love the new tall-boy 16-ouncers even more.

On the airwaves: Saint Archer founders Josh Landan and Paul Rodriguez were recently guests on The Adam Carolla Show podcast. Give it a listen here.

Beer destination: Saint Archer’s within a quick drive (maybe even walk) to Mike Hess Brewing, Rough Draft Brewing and AleSmith Brewing. Time to take a beer trip!
