Your Daily Pint for Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013 (Thanksgiving), is: SEATTLE CIDER PUMPKIN SPICE

What it is: A 6.9%-ABV cider spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and allspice.

What it tastes like: Everything you think it would taste like, but better. Giant, tart apple flavor carries strong but fresh spice along moderate bubbles; the spice stays on your breath long after the swallow. It’s pumpkin pie’s long-lost love.

The fruit: This cider’s made with Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Gala, Fuji and Red Delicious. But there are so many other things to do with apples!

Pair it with: Both desserts in the delightfully beer-infused holiday spread we cobbled together: Spiced Apple Squares and Pumpkin Bundt Cake. Or, y’know, pumpkin pie!
